IGDA Quebec/ VOLTA Speed Painting

Participated for an art demo last week at the IGDA Quebec Speed Painting event, along with my colleagues from Volta. It’s always a nerve-wracking experience to draw live in front of an audience, but it was fun nonetheless.

Dead Island

I hardly posts any of the stuff I did at Volta (most of which I could not show anyway). The Dead Island character art was one of my first project there (almost two years ago now).
In no way I’m taking sole credit for this work, as it’s more of a team work at Volta along with other artist (Svetlin Velinov, et al.). It’s cool to see the Xian Mei image being featured in lots of video gaming magazines.
